💡 To complete your Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) Learn and Earn (L&E) application you must also submit a supplemental application hosted by After School Matters.
Selecting Chicago Housing Authority Learn & Earn on the Chicago Youth Works Application
On Step 1 of the Chicago Youth Works (CYW) application, select you are interested in working with Chicago Housing Authority in the Opportunities section.
In the Chicago Housing Authority section farther down on that page, select Learn and Earn: Career Connections and the career content area(s) that interest you.
💡 The Career Areas you select will determine which specific L&E programs are selected on your supplemental ASM application.
Completing the ASM Portion of the CHA Learn and Earn Application
Once you have completed the Chicago Youth Works (CYW) application, in the CHA Learn & Earn section, click on the Complete your Learn and Earn Application with ASM button on the CYW dashboard:
This will pass you into the dedicated Learn and Earn application hosted by After School Matters where you can rank the L&E program topics that interest you to apply. Click Next through the L&E ASM application and then click Submit to be considered for enrollment.
Also Applying to After School Matters?
If you are also eligible and interested in applying to After School Matters programs, you must also complete the dedicated ASM workflow, which will look and feel very similar to the Learn and Earn application. Click on both buttons and fully submit the accompanying applications in order to apply to both CHA and ASM.
💡 You MUST click both buttons and fully submit both applications to apply to After School Matters programs and Learn & Earn programs.
