Please Note - This Help Center article provides support for enrolled Teens & Parents who received the "Not On Track to Be Paid" email message during our program session. If you did not receive this email, this information is likely not relevant to you.
💡This information is for programs earning a STIPEND. For information on Internship pay dates and wages, please review the Teen Intern Manual.
ASM wants to pay you for your participation! We send weekly reminders to teens to encourage you to finish your Teen Checklist before each pay period ends. Below you will find a detailed outline of reasons you may have received the Not On Track To Be Paid email.
💡Log into your Fall Application and view your Teen Dashboard to see the specific item(s) you are missing.
Receiving this email reminder indicates are missing one or more of the following:
Social Security Number or ITIN
- If you still need to enter your SSN or ITIN, click the Enter SSN/ITIN button in the checklist on your Teen Dashboard. Enter your SSN or ITIN then click “Save.”
- If the status is “Entered. ASM awaiting verification,” you do not need to do anything right now. After School Matters verifies all entered SSN or ITINs with the IRS prior to being paid. If there are any issues verifying your information, the Teen Pay and Stipends team will reach out to you directly. Please note that verifications are updated on a weekly basis and your status may not change immediately.
Parent Program, Acknowledgement, Consent, and Release (PACR):
Teens must have a parent / guardian sign the PACR to be eligible to receive the program stipend. The PACR is emailed directly to your parent or guardian when you first submit your application, and a reminder email is sent the same day you received your Not On Track to Be Paid email. They can also find the link to e-sign in the email they received when your application was submitted (subject: After School Matters Application Submitted). Learn more about how to resend the PACR link to your parents by reviewing our Help Center article, Signing the PACR.
